O.K. so most of you know that my mom made my wedding dress. While she was making that she also made a "practice dress". It never got finished cause it was too short for me to wear. But I am always looking for ideas to make it longer so I can wear it.
In December I thought that if i have this great sewing machine I better use it and then I can fix my dress. It was then I decided to make Christmas Pajamas! I thought it would be a great little tradition I could start that wouldn't cost a lot and could be really easy. My first pair turned out great only because my mom was with me every step of the way
 |
| Don't they look like Christmas exploded?! |
My second pair... well you can judge for your self
 |
| They look like Hammer pants... |
So as you can see i need help with this beautiful dress
 |
| Front |
 |
| Back |
 |
| The unfinished hem |
I want to keep the dresses flow abut add some length.
Any ideas?...
First can I just say yay for sewing machines John (I) just bought me one a month ago and I've had all kinds of fun with it. Your pj's made me laugh out loud. Hilarious! But your dress, how much longer does it need to be? My initial thought would be to add a solid color matching band around the bottom. But I would only do about 4 inches at the most.
