The worst depression I have ever had.

In December I went into a really bad depression. Like I wasn't eating, getting up, sleeping well. It was bad. A week before my birthday I remembered that I had a Photo shoot on my birthday, and if I wanted to stand up long enough to take pictures, I needed to start eating, sleeping, and getting up. That one thought about being able to stand long enough to not pass out was enough to get me back to some sort of healthy state. After the Photo shoot I was fine for a few days but I went back to what I was doing before.
After the Photo shoot I started thinking, "Why can't I get out of bed? Why am I doing this to myself?". I was thinking for a little while and I thought, "If I want to go out do all the fun things I want to do in life, I have to be able to stand up and not get dizzy. I want to go out and try new foods, at new places. I want to be able to have a good nights sleep, so I'm not tired all the time.".

After that thought I got up and walked around the house a little bit, ate a little something, and rested (cause those 2 things are EXHAUSTING if you haven't done anything for a while). Once I felt a little better I started to clean my kitchen. I did this for a few days and I finally got my house all clean! I was eating again! I was also sleeping through the night!
The fact that I had to fight with my own brain to do daily tasks, I'm still astounded that I could do that. I did have lots of help though. Cris and other family and friends who had no idea what I was going through still talked to me, still tried to  help me, gave me words of encouragement, and let me help them. I couldn't have done it with out their help. These people still have no idea who they are, but they will always have a special place in my heart. I will drop everything if it means that I could repay them somehow.
Thank you to all those out there who just help people with no thought of themselves, or reward. You all are truly blessed.
