Tigger

I have this cat named Tigger. He has been with me for 15 years. he has been through a LOT! First thing he had to deal with as a little kitten was being handled by me and my siblings, and we were not gentile... after he was full grown he was maybe 4 when someone or something ripped off his toe (seeing as how this happened around halloween I blame a person for this). About a year later someone hit him with a baseball bat and I had to nurse him to health for 3 months. This cat really does have 9 lives. but he is none the less AMAZING! even with his vision almost gone in one eye, one less toe, a bruised jaw, and now a thyroid problem. he can still bring us an array of food. He has brought Cris and I alone 3 mice, 2 Rats, 5 Birds, and 1 Bat...yes a BAT. Any time Cris or I leave he waits for us in our drive way. He loves everyone. When babies and little kids come over he comes in lays down for them to pet him.

When he got hyper-thyroid-ism  he lost a TON of weight, his bones were showing, and our vet just wanted to go in an do surgery just to see what was going on. But mom didn't want to pay for that cause he is so old its almost time for all three of them to pass anyway. So Cris and I started taking better care of him. He lives with us now and he has his own water dish, food bowl and letter box. Just for him! And because I want him to be fat again he gets 3 cans of cat food a day. Cris and I have always wanted a pet but we really cant afford one so when I bought all this stuff, I was about to spend $80.00 at petco and then I realized we have a pet club! and I only spent $50.00! whooohoooo!

After Tigger had made our home his home there were a few problems I had to deal with, one was waking up to a meowing cat 3, 4, or 5 in the morning cause he is hungry, or when we park our car in the garage he likes to think that that is the door. the first problem can't really be solved because he has been doing that all his life and I figure it prepares Cris and I for screaming babies in the middle of the night. so for the other problem I got him a collar with a bell on it. Boy does he look handsome in it! But Cris and I still felt like some thing was missing. And after a few months we realized what it was... TAGS! OMG it is so cute! Its like he is all grown up!
